January 2023

We reopening on Thursday 2nd February

from 10.30 - 1 pm.

This will be our first session for 2023,

Please note we have an earlier closing time due to changes in school hours.

Can't wait to see you all back and enjoying our HUGE range of toys.

November 2020

Please note

No toy library in November due to the latest Covid-19 restrictions.

The next planned session will be in February 2021.

November 2020 and future planned toy library sessions.

Our next session on 5th November 2020 is now canceled.

We were to be open from 10.30 - 1.30 with our new restrictions in place to keep us all safe.

We have been assessing the running and viability of our sessions and have come to the hard decision that the November session was to be the last one this year, reopening with a flourish in February....hopefully.

We have decided this as our December session is primarily our Christmas party with all the fun that entailed. Sadly as you can imagine this could not be done safely.

As we don't open in January this makes our next session (after November) 4th February 2021, dependant on covid regulations.

We will update this site in due course.

If you have borrowed toys please keep them, enjoy them free of any further hire charge and return them to us when we reopen.

September 2020 - Toy library reopens with new restrictions.

The Toy Library will be reopening on 10th September. It seems SO long since we last welcomed you to join us.

We have changed a few things to keep us all safe.

Below are some of the changes, the ones you will hopefully be reassured by and happy to borrow our toys again.

• Limited families attending at one time.
• Hand gel on the entrance and exit points.
• Face coverings must be worn while inside the building.
• A one-way system will be in place. Please follow the new signage.
• All toys being returned will be logged in and kept separate from our main toy collection for 2 weeks+.
• These returned toys will then be sanitized as usual ready for rehiring.
• All toys for hire will be visible to limit the amount of handling.
• Sadly no play sessions.
• Unfortunately, no refreshments are available.

• The accessible toilet and baby change will be available. Please use anti-bac wipes provided. 
• We can still only take cash as we do not have a card facility.

Please be reassured that we will do all we can to keep your little ones enjoying the wide range of toys we have.

Amazing donation from our friends at

Micro-scooters.

Before lockdown we were in consultation with an amazing company called Micro Scooters....you may already know their brand.

Unfortunately like lots of things it was shelved for a while. We were really excited to receive a huge box, well two boxes containing some refurbished scooters and a trike.

These will be available to hire from reopening in September.

We would like to say a BIG thank you to them for this generous gift.

March 2020 - Toy Library shut down due to covid-19.

We are sad to announce that we will not have any further sessions until we know it is safe for our members and volunteers to handle our toys. Enjoy the toys you have from us free of charge until we reopen.
